Synopsis

Three Kings is a war dark-comedy film set during the aftermath of the first Gulf War, directed by David O. Russell. The story follows four U.S. soldiers—Major Archie Gates (George Clooney), SFC Troy Barlow (Mark Wahlberg), SSG Chief Elgin (Ice Cube), and PFC Conrad Vig (Spike Jonze)—who stumble upon a hidden map revealing the location of stolen Kuwaiti gold bullion. Driven by a mix of greed, adventure, and a desire to help oppressed locals, they embark on a rogue mission to retrieve the treasure.
